Jag ställde frågan till Mike Wise som är duktig på Apistos och han hade detta att säga:
"Mike Wise"I believe the first 3 photos show the holotype A. aggassizii. Typical of Heiko, he wants every different color variant to be a new species. The last apisto is A. cf. regani (Trombetas) (A56) or something very close. This is the first report of a regani-complex species from the Rio Iça. This fills in the distribution pattern along the Amazon for the complex between the Río Ucayali (A. paulmuelleri) in Peru and A. regani around Manaus. We are fortunate that we have someone like Heiko who is willing to go to new localities in Brazil.
Trevligt att få veta mer om utbredningsområdet för regani komplexet i alla fall.
